How can I sign in to online resources using my DuckID?

Answer:

Some publishers offer the option to sign in with your UO/DuckID credentials directly on the publisher website. Publisher websites vary, but in general:

  1. Locate the Sign In with Your Institution / Institutional Login button or link. Sometimes you will see them labeled with the terms/phrases like “Login through your institution”, “Federated Login”, "Shibboleth", or "InCommon”
  2. Select University of Oregon from the dropdown menu.
  3. You’ll be routed to the DuckID Sign In page. Enter your DuckID and password.
  4. If we've licensed the material, you'll be able to access the resource

Here's what this looks like from Springer:

Access through your institution. Find your institution field shows University of Oregon

Here's another example from AIP:

Sign in via Shibboleth at AIP. Location is US Higher Education (InCommon) and Institution is University of Oregon
