How do I access library resources from off-campus?

Answer:

There are two main ways to access online journals, eBooks and library databases from off-campus: proxied links and VPN.

Library Proxy Service

When you use links from within LibrarySearch or the A-Z Databases list to get to library resources those links are typically proxied. If you're off-campus, you'll be prompted to "Login with your DuckID" to get access. There are a limited number of resources that require VPN instead.

VPN (Virtual Private Network) Service

If you'd rather go directly to publisher sites for journal access or you're using one of the resources that require it, you'll need to use UO's VPN.
